As the State NYTD Review Coordinator, what are the specific things I should consider when reserving conference rooms and layout for the NYTD Review?
Answer
- Large conference room for entrance and exit conferences to accommodate state leadership, state staff, state review team, federal review team (approximately 13 people), allow for social distancing, use of projector and screen, good acoustics, best if U-shape layout
- Large conference rooms with work stations to accommodate 3-5 people for Day 2, case review process
- Individual conference rooms with telephone for conference calls or computer for virtual meetings if needed for stakeholder interviews and young people focus group (typically Day 3)
- Building logistics: Do review teams need key fobs/IDs/visitor passes? How do they access the building every day? Can they remain in the building late if needed? Do review teams have access to parking?
- Are there restaurants nearby or delivery services to provide meals while working?
